Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Co-founder for a legal company specialized in information security in Germany. As a Co-founder, you will play a crucial role in shaping the vision, strategy, and operations of the company. Your expertise in both legal and high-level information security domains will be essential in ensuring the company's success and providing innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Collaborate with other co-founders to define the company's strategic direction, goals, and growth plans.

• Develop and implement strategies to establish the company as a leader in the legal information security industry.

• Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks in the market and make proactive recommendations.

Legal Expertise

• Provide legal guidance and expertise to clients on matters related to information security, data protection, privacy laws, and regulatory compliance.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and policies to ensure legal compliance and protection of clients' interests.

• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry standards, and ensure the company's practices align with the latest requirements.

Business Development 

• Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and nurturing client relationships.

• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.

• Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to promote the company's services and enhance its reputation.

Team Leadership and Management

• Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing team of legal and information security professionals.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional development.

• Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

Essential Skills

• Recognised University Law degree 

• Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property, and privacy laws.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think creatively, identify business opportunities, and drive growth.

Preferred Skills

• In-depth knowledge of information security frameworks, regulations, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, BDSG, etc.).

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex legal projects and providing strategic advice to clients.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
